"Black Angel, vol 1 is written by Yann, with artwork by Henriet. It's a story about a woman who is a pilot for Al Capone during the prohibition era, eventually she gets into a battle with some very ruthless enemies. I wasn't that impressed with this book. It starts off well enough with a dramatic sequence, but I feel it loses momentum after that. The flashbacks to Bessie's childhood informs the story, but it also slows down the narrative.
