Jessica Blandy begins a relationship with a jazz player at a club in town. At the same time a number of women goes missing, and the leads point to that specific club. Maybe Jessica's new partner is different than he seems? I was a bit disappointed by this book. It's the weakest entry in the series that I've read so far. The segments about Charlie Parker slows the story down and distracts from the plot. The book overall is also too wordy and the inner life of the jazz player is given too much... En lire plus
