The book is about a photographer named Ivory Pearl, she gets involved in a political affair revolving around a man hiding in Cuba. This story was difficult to get into. Honestly, it was hard to follow the plot and I can't say for sure that I really understood what was going on. It's not clear how the characters relate to each other or what they are trying to accomplish....
