David Rubin’s art is even better than before, and some of the two page spreads are amazing (and, yes, I liked his references to video games, art history and pop culture). The story, on the other hand, continues the overall theme of “how much are you willing to pay for indulging in a fantasy world at the expense of the real world?”. The finale combines a classic Holmesian ending (I’m trying hard not to spoil anything here) AND the required happy ending. I wish there was more to this trilogy, but...
