The Springtime Of My Life Began With You Vol 1 by Nikki Asada is not that different from other shojo mangas about an insecure heroine where the hero is helping her out of her shell.
What's different though, is the air around the male main character, Takasago.
I think there is a tendency in shojo manga to make the male main character either really sweet or really mean. Takasago seems almost indifferent to Suehiro, the female main character, mainly using her for his own needs. Like the synopsis...
