Beauty and the Beast of Paradise Lost Vol 4 by Kaori Yuki is a dark, gothic retelling of the tale Beauty and The Beast. Beauty is a huge thing in this read, and you get multiple views of how beauty can be used as power both against others but also against yourself. It's a rather manipulative read and I like that darkness of it. You will find no cute animals here. There are enemies everywhere in this book. So many that the main villain La Medium feels like a small fish. I hope it's intentional... En lire plus
