Elecboy, vol 1 is written and drawn by Jaouen Salaün. The story takes place in the future, in a seemingly post-apocalyptic America, where young Joshua gets into a conflict with a powerful clan. I wasn't impressed by this book. The author gives almost no context to the events unfolding or to the world that's depicted. I guess he wants to keep things mysterious. But the reader needs to have something to hold onto, to be able to engage with the story. It's evident that the first few pages connect...
