Henrik and Harald have teamed up with Freya and are going after Grimnir. Björn's mission is shaken by mutiny, and a surprising character comes to the rescue. Meanwhile, the Saxons strike back against the Franks. I was a bit disappointed with this concluding volume. I felt like the conclusion strayed to far into the realm of the supernatural, in a way that didn't feel true to the series.
