Betty gets out of the hospital and is set to back to France, when an old enemy shows up wanting revenge. Jason continues his investigation into the Mayflower, this time in Europe. I liked this volume a lot. It has a great pace, and the plot really starts to pay off at this point. I especially liked that Jason got a new reluctant acquaintance, Annika, who added another dimension to the story. Yves Sente may not quite be Jean Van Hamme, but he's still a very good storyteller.
