The book starts out with Mullway telling Jason about the family history. It goes back to around 1900 when three Irish friends try their luck in the United States. Mullway is midway through the story when Jason is called to assist Maria in the efforts to stop Peralta's way to the capital. I really enjoyed this book. It centers mostly on Jason's family's journey through the 20th century, and it's an entertaining and compelling read. The part of the book that takes place in present day is also...
